I have an 1996 1.8 A6 with a sick auto box, looks like a piston has blown.
Considered swapping with another unit, but mine is the 4 speed 01N unit code DFG.
Can find plenty other 01N units from A4's but the code is different.
Any idea what the different codes are ?
was offered a CUW unit that was mounted on another 1996 1.8 ADR engine
