HI

I recently wrote about my S3 (2001) skidding, basically the back end keeps sliding when going round bends, like oversteer. (this even happens at slow to moderate speeds)

Somebody mentioned getting the traction control checked:

How can I do this?
How much is this likely to cost?

Cheers everyone, any advice much apprecitaed!!

hi mate

no sorry i have not solved it.

think i am going to pt exchange the car! too much trouble!

I read somewhere that because the s3 uses Haldex, not Quattro there can be problems; such as something going wrong with the way it splits the power between front and rear wheels.

This was scary tho! happened at 103mph! never regained faith in the car since, as it made me come off the road and slam into a dry stone wall!

I'm lucky to be here!

Hope you sort it, let me know if you find out what it is i'd be very interested to find out
