Passat 1.8T Oil pressure fault

Hi everyone , I've got a 2001 1.8T Passat with intermitant Oil Pressure Warning light coming on. No fault codes stored had loads of nonsense advised but ask real Vw owners , Please advise on your experiences :confused: Thanks

oil pump pick up blocked with sludge. remove sump and fit new pump with pick up. if you use the search function you will find a few things out about it, although it could be a faulty warning system, but i doubt it.
