Hi,

Just wondering if any of the tuning companies or anyone else has any measured figures for the difference in power output form the 2.0TFSI 197bhp engine when you change from 98 to 95 RON petrol, and also if there is any definate difference in fuel ecconomy?

Thanks

Dod

Hi Dod

Yes, you see 5 - 10hp more on peak hp when running 98 octane fuel on the 2.0TFSI.

Higher octane reduces knock so you the ECU won't pull timing back.

Hi, we remap cars and I would agree with your reply. the diffence would only be at the upperend of your power band.moton
