Hi, everyone, I'm sick of buying link rods, they seem to last about six months or so, anyone know where to get the best from, had vw's once

VW’s are the best and pattern ones from Febi nearly as good but all are pretty useless. Often the problem is people tightening them up with the suspension dropped which twists the boots when on the ground which makes the boot split so the joint lasts only a few months, it is a regular problem. Is this a Sharan or Touran?

They were so unreliable when new that they were "Criterion 01 of Campaign 40G6 Quality-improvement measures (2011927/3)" and under the part number (7M3 411 317 C) there is a note “Technical product information 4078” but I can’t find it.

hi, crasher, i'm not very techno minded, does that mean i just have to put up with the problem, or the original items have been improved, thanks vic.

At least with the VW ones you get a longer warranty. Thats what is on my car now having had various cheaper ones.
