Rear Sun Blind

Has anybody ever used the Rear Window Blind fitted to the A3 Sports Back Sports or SE models

And does it serve any purpose As Have chance to buy S/H one for mine

on my one it came as standard. I really don't understand it as i have never been obstructed by sunlight from the rear of the car...

its good if you have a rear facing baby seat, otherwise i dont really see a use for it.

I have one in my A3, and the Golf before that had one. Total time i had access to sunblind - 8 yrs, number of times used... once!

You use it when the car is parked up in the sun, to reduce the amount of sunlight getting into the car.

I have one on mine and like it especially when driving at night, it reduces glare from headlights behind you. Although you could just use the dipping mirror!.

I think I can beat that I have never in my 11 years of ownership of Audi's of which most of then A3 with a rear sun blind
