I just bought a 02 a4 Avant 2.5tdi Quattro.

I want someone to help me with fitting Dis as im a complete idiot with electrical things. Can anyone help?

Does anyone maybe have a simple guide for installing dis to the avant. I dont need cruise control.

I think all you have to do it undo the steering column and change them over. You will need a T8 Torx to undo the cowling.

You might have to take the steering wheel off.

Wheel does need to come off and the T8 bit needs to be very thin and long to get to the 2 bloody stupid screws under the trim.

Do you have a multifunction steering wheel? If you do, you only need to add the cruise stalk (indicator stalk need to come off to get it in) If not, you also need a new steering wheel module that will support cruise.

As for DIS, I can't help as I already have it... I think. It's the bit that tells you all is ok, bulb out warning, mpg etc isn't it?

Yea I only want DIS dont need Cruise control at all.
