Hi peep's

I bet this has been asked million times before but

Looking to get some new alloys for my a3 1.8t S plate and narrowed it down to either rs4 or rs6 alloys but been told that originals won't fit straight on and would have to buy replicas is this the case?

Cheers

the PCD on A3 wheels is 100 where as the PCD for A4 and A6 wheels is 120. so your right in saying they won't fit.

Not unless your A4 / A6 is a BMW. :p

Audi are 5x100 or 5x112.
RS2 is 5x130 but that's a bit special. ;)

Perhaps it's worth pointing out that your insurance company will rub their hands together whilst they work out how much to load your insurance for fitting any changes.
They load it whatever wheels you fit even OEM wheels, so beware!
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news just thought you ought to know
