2000 passat problems with vagcom

ok trying to scan my airbags using an unlicence software for now but am getting an message advising me to switch off ignition and switch on again. iv read the problems and it tells me to check the serial number of the airbag control module, witch is 1co 909 605 a. but still cant scan the unit.

any help please
