Need some help,

Cars a 2002 2.0lts petrol saloon.

Changed the front offside dip beam as it had failed. Now near side main beam is not working. Ive changed the bulb and checked the fuse, put a multi meter on the terminal end and get a reading of 10.38v yet get a reading of 13v on the offfside dip terminal. At the fuse box end fuses 19 and 20 I get a reading of 13v on the offside (working main beam fuse holder) yet only 3.48v on the nearside main beam fuse holder.

When i turn off the main beam and ignition I have negative volt reading of -0.01v on the non working nearside fuse holder and 0.01v on volts from the working offside main beam holder.

Any thoughts, is fuse relay duff?? or earth leak.

Cheers

Mark

Meter's pointing to earth leak = dead short.
Happy hunting:D
