Hi all ,

I seem to be having this strange problem all of a sudden where the washer fluid is not working and wiper not working. Although the regular wipers are working the problem is only when bringing back arm to wash that nothing happens.

I have checked fuses, hoses...and all is good
Can the problem be the washer motor? if so why doesn't the wiper at least work?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

John

hi,
sounds like youve got a faulty wiper switch not sending any power to washer motor or wiper motor when you ift the arm up wiper motor must be ok if they work in wiper position best to put a circuit tester on washer mtor and get someone to operate washers and see if your getting a live feed to the washer motor

Hi there...thanks for reply,

The wipers do work when activated and the various speeds.
It's just when pulling arm for quick wash that NO wash or wipe occurs.

Can this be the arm switch on dash? or does the washer motor send the wipe signal also?

do i need to change this >> http://replacement.autopartswarehouse.com/parts/autopartswarehouse/quote.jsp?year=2002&product=P7150-167187&application=000906966&part=Wiper%20Switch&dp=false

Also , how many fuses are there for this whole wiper mechanism?
