I'm thinking on accessories -- could we find a friendly dealer / vendor who could offer bulk-buy discounts on regular consumables like tyres, wiper blades, oil, car-care items (wax, leather cleaners) and then what about audi servicing costs, turbo mapping?

for example I got a good deal on official wiper blades (fit yourself) recently from my dealer...but if others A3 club memebers also needed new wipers..could we arranage a better/bulk discount?

Bulk purchasing power! Definitely. There are a couple of dealerships on eBay. Stoke Audi I think are one. They do lots of stuff cheaper than I've found it anywhere else in the dealer network.

Once we have a fair few members (say 30-40+) might be worth dropping a few dealers an e-mail. Esp within a group. I'm thinking Synter as I think they have dealers all over the country (I think). Another I can think of are Jardine but they may just be up North.

And thinking about it, as Alley suggested, approaching a friendly website for car care. I've used performancemotorcare.co.uk before today and they've been great. Happy to chat through options over e-mail before you order. I'm sure they're as good on the phone too.

I think it might be good if the club members took part in wife swapping. An old oil filter will get you mine! Genuine Audi of course, she's not THAT bad!

Erm. S3 huh. I don't think so. In fact I wouldn't really fancy your chances of an old oil filter. I'm sure she has a great personality though!;)
