A3 front windscreen wiper problem

Hi, As it's snowing in the north I was using my wipers to clear the screen this morning. I noticed that snow was building up underneath and so they weren't returning to their original position.
I cleared the screen of snow and then started them going again.
The passengers side wiper wipes fine, but the drivers side now hardly moves, gets stuck under the passenger side, or generally wont work.
Can anyone shed any light as to how to solve this issue ???

It the blade locking under your pass side wiper? If so it sounds like you may have moved the blade off of the clip it seats on going to the wiper arm. Also wiper linkage failure is a relatively common problem too. If snow has bogged that up, it might be your issue. You can remove the rain gutter and see the linkage iirc.
