problem seems to be a faulty MAF and sticky turbo vanes....
there were a number of faults on the first scan, these were cleared,car driven around
and the MAF fault and overboost fault returned.
Car was then driven driven carefully, MAF fault returned,no overboost, but I suspect this will return if the car is driven hard....

just wanted to say thanks again for doing 3 scans and for coming along on the test rides and not taking the easy option

and for the e-mails and other advice
i may try the miracle cure to decoke the turbo and free up the vnt Turbo veins on the thrust side of the turbo by using

10 k boost
