i was wondering how to make my golf get more power.. i hav an induction kit. would cuttin the cat off make a diff?

adding an induction kit adds a couple of break horse power. taking the cat off adds about 5 bhp. being only a 1.4 you havent got much to play with for power. not much you can do realistically without being extreme by putting a bigger engine in. i know on the mark 3 gtis you can buy a chip/resistor off ebay cheaply fit to the airmass meter that adds 25bhp.

no seriously, what about when it comes to MOT time....it wont pass and fail emmisions...is it worth it?

yeah its due . and booked in its 5 weeks away.ha ah if i can make a joiner to put it back on i will cut it off.
