HPFP failures?

Hello from the USA. We have just recieved the new to us (2009/2010 model)CBEA tdi engines here in the USA and there have been a few high pressure fuel pump failures to date. Does anyone here on the forum know if you have experienced the same failures? Any info you might provide would be extremely appreciated.

Hello, My Audi A4 2011 HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) has just failed and is going to cost a small mortgage to put right. The whole fuel system (tank injectors the lot) has to be replaced due to the fact its put Alloy filings in lines.Car only done 60K so find this very annoying.
Audi not willing to help as they have no knowledge of this happening with any other car.
