Discs & Pads wearing at the same rate?

My July 06 Q7 has just clocked 97k and come back from it's service.

Back in Nov 2007 I had the discs & pads replaced due to wear, yet now the dealer has advised both need replacing again.

I've never had a car which goes through a set of discs at the same rate as a set of pads????!!!

The dealer wants about £900 for the full set incl fitting & VAT.

Try Fontain - they are an Audi independant in Bucks. I am on 40k and still with original discs and pads - but my driving style is quick but easy on the brakes.
