99 1.8t blue smoke

Hello there all,have a 99 1.8t (apu)started using alot of oil just of late and have noticed lots of blue smoke when dropping gear and accelerating hard,think it's turbo seals???been fantastic motor but coming up to 160k. My question is it worth putting a turbo kit in the turbo,can get a genuine one,can't feel to much play in shaft and it has good boost,i'm in Norfolk does anyone know of a good reasonable supplier if i should be going up the path of a new turbo,thankyou all,

Check out TURBO CLINIC I think he's in Leeds but he does everything by post in the price
He fistly explains the options and various prices and then has the dud charger collected
Then in a couple of days will call you with progress report
Then the unit is sent back to you for re-fitting
He does NEW unit
Remanufacture of your own unit
or even builds a new turbo to your own tailored specification
I used him around 2 years ago to re-manufacture turbo from Mitsubishi Shogun TD and paid around £400
