Interior dash lights

Hi can anybody please help having problems with interior dash lights.
When you turn switch for headlights to come on none of the interior lights come on like the dash climate and radio. Its a intermittent fault sometimes they come on sometimes not or sometimes they just come on whilst your driving.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Same thing is happening to my 07 VRS they come on dimly and then brighten intermittently...

Probably a faulty light switch. It can work the lights fine but still not switch the dash lights properly.
