Pollen filter change on 05 Toledo Tdi

Can anyone please direct me how to change pollen filter on one of these.
Do you have to access it from the footwell or Engine bay?

I have 05 petrol toledo and the pollen filter is in the passenger footwell. You remove a cover about 5 screws and slide back a thin cover and pull out filter.
