FYI - Wiper service function redundant

Just noticed tonight as I was clearing snow that the wiper sevice function (pull wiper stalk down with engine off before removing key) is actually redundant on the CC as you can actually lift both blades while they are in the parked position.
I'm pretty sure that they foul on the bonnet on the passat saloon.
So there you go, another pointless snippet of info.:o
