Hi all.

I seem to be constantly struggling with the windscreen on my golf fogging up and have found the inside of the windscreen to be iced up on these recent cold mornings. I usually have the air-con turned on if there's a hint of moisture in the air and I don't recall having to do this with any of my previous cars.

Is this normal?! I was wondering if the door seals need replacing of the vents clearing out or something?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers!

Thanks - what am I checking the pollen filter for? Blockages?

What and where is the recirculation flap?!

The pollen filter can be damp or full av crap, The recirculation flap motor is behind the glove compartment,it is part of the AC system. If the flap motor fails in the recirculating position, there will be no fresh air flow to the interior of the vehicle, which results in the windows steaming up.You can get a fault code read which may verify a fault with the unit

Have you checked whether the carpets are dry?
