Passat B5 Battery replacement.

Hi there, Could some body please let me know how you are men t to remove the battery from the compartment, without giving your self a hernia?

REading the forum here you all suggest to use a memory saver, is this needed on the Diesels?

This is a 'how to' great thread, I've used it several times.

The first time you do it you'll wonder why its so damn difficult, after this it'll be mush easier.

No need to use a memory saver, you'll just have to adjust the clock manually which is easy. Although, you could knock your own memory saver up quite easily by the look of them.
