keyswitch inside drivers door?

Hi All,
Can anybody tell me what the keyswitch on the inside of the drivers door beside the boot release and fuel cap release buttons. I thought it might be to disable the front passenger airbag for when carrying a baby seat in it but there's no indication on or around the switch what it's for or which position is on/off or a warning light on the dashboard

Hi its for the remote boot switch next to it. If you stick the key in and turn it it disables the boot switch.:beerchug:
