I need to replace the offside outer drive shaft boot on my 2003 Passat TDI, and will need to use my axle stands. I have checked in my Haynes manual for a suitable position on the chassis or suspension to position the stands without damaging the car, but there are no suggestions. Does anyone know the correct points to use. Many thanks.
