Hi,
I have a 2001 A4 3.0 V6 Quattro and have the following problem.
Engine will cut out - usually after queing in traffic. The engine then takes a while to restart (about 15 seconds turning over before coming to life). When it does start it is ticking over about 200rpm higher than usual and the EPC and engine managemnts lights are on.
After leaving the car for a while it then restarts normally and the EPC light has gone out. Also ocassionaly if I accelerate hard, I get a loss of power for a couple of seconds before recovering.
Took it to the dealers who said there were a couple of missfires on the memory but nothing looks wrong - any ideas??
