Meguiars G220 DA machine polisher

Hi there

I'm thinking about buying a Meguiars G220 machine polisher to perfect the shine on my A4.

Does anyone have any tips or advice in regards to this product.

Is it easy to use and what pads should I buy. My car is a 2007 model with some very minor swirls, other than that it's a clean example.

Have you considered the DAS? very good machine, usually quite a bit cheaper than the G220 too ;)

I've been considering buying one for a while. The one you mentioned, is that the Kestrel DAS machine polisher. I read people talking about Audi's having hard paint. If that's the case do you know what pads and polish would be best.

Any advice would be greatfully received.

The DAS-6 will be available in our new store from the first week in july. It's a nice little unit and for the money is great. It hasn't got the build quality of the Meguiars or the reliability but if your not using it on a daily basis you will probably not notice.

The warranty on the G220 is better for sure.

The Audi has quite hard paint.

Pad wise, you have a big choice. In the new store we will be carrying Menzerna, Lake Country, Sonus and Meguiars.
