New to the forum, just bought a B8..

Hi all, my first post on the forum!

Just bought a 9 month old B8 2.0 tdi (170)

Got a couple of questions for you all..

Firstly is there any way to turn down the phone ringtone, almost jumped out my skin a couple of times! Secondly has anyone else noticed a whining sound under fairly hard acceleration (almost like a supercharger sound??)
Also, what are you seeing on the mpg front, I'm getting around 39mpg with a 100 mile a day drive, split between motorway, dual & a bit of town (the car has done 11,000 miles)

P.S. it is Brilliant Black, Black Leather, 19in 7 Spokes, B & O, Parking Front & Rear, Heated Seats (loved them This Morning!!) & Bluetooth

Welcome to the forum, I believe the whining sound is the turbo, I also get it on the 143.

Thought it would be that, just a very different noise to the B7 140 I had..

On the Phone thing. When it rings again use the steering wheel volume controls that should sort it.
