Hi,

My 2.0 TDI non-quattro is ready for a pair of new shoes. It's got the factory 18" Bridgestones on which have been good, except for last winter :)

I mentioned this to my local tyre place, they suggested I maybe try some Michelin PS2's (245/40).

Anyone tried a pair of them on a B8 A4 front wheel drive? Or any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Andy

Best A4 tire-Uniroyal Wet 2's and not just for Winter either :)

Thanks for the suggestion, and yeah, I'm looking for all year round so that's good.

Just for info, put a set of michelin PS2's on last spring and so far this wet and cold spell they are looking promising.

Thanks, I've got a good price on those locally so think I'll give 'em a spin too.

I had a set of PS2's on my B6 S4.

Really good tyres. The sidewalls are really firm giving an excellent turn in (although perhaps this was more important on the nose heavy 4.2V8 S4).

I slightly preferred the grip from the Goodyear F1 GSD3's but I wouldn't critisise anyone for fitting the PS2's.
