B5 to B6 wheel compatability

My 1.9 tdi 2000 B5 was struck hard on the N/S front by a car emerging from a side road, whose "driver" said afterwards, "the satnav didn't tell me to stop" :mad:

Written off, of course, as repair estimate was £6k.

I have aranged to buy a similar B6 and would be grateful if someone who knows could tell me if the wheels are interchangeable. I have a set of winter tyres on spare B5 rims and hope they will fit.
