a4 2.5tdi couple of things

2003-2.5tdi A4 Avant..
1- Drivers seat height adjustment...keeps dropping (slowly) and I just pump the right hand height aduster lever every 4-5 days....Is there something in there thats not holding pressure...???
2- Brake warning light on dash plus the bleeps in the morning on start-up..then its fine all day...sensor somewhere needing renewed.??? (pads/fluid levels etc seem fine).

My 2002 2.5 tdi did the brake bleep thing if you touched the brake pedal when starting the engine....

Did it on and off for 120k miles, the dealer couldn't find any faults....:confused:

Brake beep on start up is a known problem, normally on cold mornings.
The dealer fix was to put a relay in, A8Tech has a write up on here, you could search for it.
Other people have moved a cable, don't know which one mind,
I think its caused by a low voltage spike when cranking the engine in the morning.
