Hi i'm a newbie and having probs with audi a4.
Had problems starting yesterday took a few turns to fire up normaly fires 1st time then when started noticed EPC light on. then throttle response felt ......different? Then went out this morning and starts first time and no lights :confused:. so thought all was well. took car out then on way home( done about 40miles no problems)EPC light returns along with emisions symbol so now dash is light up like xmas tree. can any one shed any light on the problem(sorry had to say that:D)

As to which section applies, you will have to decide as you have not told us the cars year and engine code.

To find out why your engine check light is on you will require a fault code read. It may be something as simple as a faulty brake light switch or engine coolant temperature sender fault or as bad as a faulty engine computer. Without a code read, anything else is guess work which could easily involve wasting money.
