B6 SE TDI funny story

In Jan of this year I bought myself a 2003 model SE TDI quattro A4 TDI 130. A friend of mine who drove a BMW got rather jelous so before long he had gone out a bought a B7 2005 Quattro S line 2.0 Turbo in gorgeous shining black! Very nice I thought!

He came round last week and out of curiosity took mine for a drive. He came back with a slightly concerned and bewildered look on his face like he had scraped it along something nasty.

He then said 'Mmmm, yes, it's very nice. In fact I think I prefer it to mine, it's much more comfortable to drive'!

I had to laugh!

Im of the same opinion that the B6 is more comfortable to the B7, yours of course is the SE so the suspension wont be as stiff as the S-Line's. I find the back rest of the seats in the B7 too narrow, but then I find this in a lot of "performance seats" because I work out in the gym a fair bit my back is a bit wider! Adjustable seat sides is what i'd like to see more often! My '02 Sport Buffalo Leather seats are absolutely perfect in comparison!
