After eventually getting my new key coded, I found that the bloke that did it had broken the ECU/Relay box cover as he couldn't get to rear screws. This caused the car to break down when out in the country because I used the windscreen washer which allowed water to pass into the ecu outer plastic box and drown the relays. After a strip down and drying out of relay, (which now looks totally corroded), I did manage to be on my way. Help I require is if anyone knows where to get a new cover from and also am I correct in thinking that wiper arms need to be removed to enable trim removal so as access can be obtained for rear torx screws of casing. Car is a 2003 avant 1.9 tdi se.Will change relays as well due to corrosion any ideas of cost etc.:1zhelp:
