Hi
Does any one know where the wiper relay is for 1.9tdi 2000 reg Alhambra?
The wipers won't stop so I have to pull the fuse.
Already had fuse box out but it doesn't appear to be any of those.
Thanks in advance

Thanks.
The motor has a circuit board attached so I guess this must be the controller in lieu of a relay. It must have a short, guess I need a new one

did you get this sorted?, just got a 2000 ford galaxy which is same as alhambra and vw sharan. It has a few faults and the wipers is one, at the minute wipers only operate in full speed mode with fuse removed. With the fuse inserted the wipers cannot be switched off, but seems to operate at the variable speeds.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Yes found the answer on another forum but can't find it now.
Mine is the built in circuit board. Remove it It's covered in a protective film you have to peel away.
Examine the circuitry with an eye glass, look for bad silvering along one side. Solder a fine wire between the two contact points.
Coat the PCB with clear nail varnish to protect it This solved my problem hope it fixes yours. :beerchug:
If I find the original site that helped me I'll post it.

Hi, does anyone know whether all Alhambras have the circuit board mentioned above or do some have the relay mentioned in the other thread (Wipers on constant)?
I have them on constant at the moment as detailed on the other thread.
