Removing a light scratch

We have a two year old Beetle which we have had from new. As we hand wash it every week it's spotless but I discovered a long scratch (12 inches) on the rear. I've used Turtle Wax Safe Cut Scratch Remover which does a good job but after washing the car the scratch reappears. Can anyone recommended a better product which will hide the scratch even after washing the car. Or is it better taking it into the body shop?

ive got a couple on my black car, is there no good product i can use to hide them without spraying the car, iv tried t cut black and they still show up.
