Can any kind member please explain to me how to remove the plastic engine cover on my 2006 A3 Sportback TDI 140? I saw in a workshop manual that one has to lift the cover on both sides and slide it forwards, having already removed the dipstick. I tried this several times, but it won't budge. What am I doing wrong? How much force can I use before I break something? Thanks in advance.
