I have an N Reg Audi A4, which yesterday passed it's M.O.T after some work that needed doing.
Basically I had to have the both front suspension arms replaced as there was 'excessive play' in the ball joints.
Anyway, after picking the car up last night, on the way home I noticed a bit of noise coming form the area of the suspension. At speed - 30mph - it is good as gold but when I was slowing at roundabouts and traffic lights I could hear a noise, almost like a tapping of metal.
Is this normal after having this work carried out? I wondered weather the new suspension parts needed time to 'bed in'?
Thought I'd try on here before phoning the garage back and moaning.
Also, my mileage display no longer works. All the other lights seem to work on my dashboard but the Mileage display is never visible. Any advice as to what this could be? Is it cheap to sort out?
