Best I can do is 5L for £45 but then you get another 10% off if you're on certain car forums such as Tyresmoke.net or you add them to Facebook as a fan.

So that's £8.10 a litre instead of £9.50 ..... if you want 5 Litres of course.

With my S4 it took 8.5L per oil change. I used to suppy it to my dealer and it saved me about £60 (after all costs) per service. ;)

Thanks Scotty.

Forgot to mention this is the oil that my 2.0 TFSI engine eats at about 1 litre every 3000 miles.

Apparently it replaces the Castrol SLX II and SLX III that comes with the car (well did with mine!)

+£6.99 delivery = £10.38 per litre delivered

My link is £9.50 per litre delivered! :p :D

To be honest the seller can't be making much. Costs him £2.76 to send 1!

That is very cheap, too cheap infact.

Castrol will have a hissy fit if they see him selling it at that price.

He must also be making a loss if he purchased this oil through Castrol as I know how much it costs.

Cheers

Guy

If it doesn`t get them to do an `Oil Consumption test`,i`m sure they must have a programme on the `5051` comp?? Merc`s have that facility on the `Star Diagnosis`.

Thanks. I'll be keeping a close eye on it for the next 3000 miles!

I use Q8 5/30 full synthetic and complies to Audi requirements and is only £20 odd quid for 5 litres! Car has covered 51,000miles since last September 08. It uses 1 litre every 10-12,000 miles.
