interior light not working

when i open the door the 2 inside rear lights come on but the main at the front does not , yet the bulb works when i flick the switch to on - any ideas.


edit - lights work using other doors ,as read in other posts , what is this switchgear inside the door handle operation that works the lights that i need then ???????????

Might sound stupid but is the switch in the correct position? ;)

i have the same problem. by the switch it comes on, but when i open door it doesnt. and yes the switch is in right position. :-)

its something inside the door ,on the handle that tells the light to light. what it is im not sure. does ANYONE know ?????

There is a micro switch built into the lock.

once the door is unlocked though ,surely it should work each time you open the door , which sugests its in the handle ?????????
