The boot central locking solenoid on my vw passat w reg (2000) needs to be replaced because it is sticking. I have removed the inner lining of the boot lid and can see the solenoid, but cannot get at the two screws that hold it to the full locking unit. I want to know how to remove the full unit to get at the screws to change the solenoid. Any ideas anyone?
