just bought my a3 on a 51 plate two days ago bought some wheels of a another a3 of ebay got them today and they don't fit there are 5x112 pcd with a et of 30-50 fit over the hub ok but bolts don't line up, can i get anything so these can fit, thanks

That is because you have an 8L A3 with 5x100 PCD and you have bought wheels off a 2004 onwards 8P A3 which has 5x112 PCD. You can’t have ET30- 50, just 30 or 50. AN 8x18 on an A3 8L should be approx ET33 and an 8P A3 should be approx ET55 so in theory if the wheels are ET50 and you need ET35, a 15-mm thick 5x100 to 5x112 adapter spacer would give you an ET of 35-mm, just about right.

thanks just found some adaptors on bay for £64 for a set so gonna buy these, are they safe as never put adaptors on before thanks for ur halp

I have used them on the Golf 3 VR6 to take the PCD from 5x100 to 5x130 when using Porsche wheels and they are perfectly OK.
