Good day to you all on the forum, am new and glad to be part of the family. Thanks.

:zx11:My friend took my audi 2001, 2.5 turbo diesel quattro manual for a spin and ever since the car has been a vegetable. He stepped on the pedals to the floor enjoying the speed and suddenly smoke was all over the place from the rear. Now the car drives flat as if there is no turbo or power.
Now the starting bit, very hard to start and the way to get it started is to open up the air filter side and put a drop or two of petrol around the MAF and with three cranks it starts. after a few warm up period I switch off and try starting again and takes about three to four cranks . Please help.:1zhelp:

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Sorry to hear about you troubles but you'd better better off posting in the B5 forum someone there may have a better idea, although it does sound like a blown turbo! :(

Good luck

Scott
