I don't quite have a VAG at the moment, although my last car was a mk3 Golf GTi

I am thinking about trading my trusty vectra v6 in for an A4 1.8T B5 saloon, but before I do I was wondering if I could get some help on a what to look for from you guys?

Welcome to the forum! My first Audi was a B5 saloon too :)

It's definitely worth you looking through the A4 B5 forum to see what issues other B5 drivers have reported. Probably worth asking the question in there too.
