hi all, new to the forum and straight away in need of some help for my audi a3 1.8t.
ive owned it for 7months and has been great until now for.the ladst week has been problem after problem.
the first was when my battery light came on stationary in traffic. revved the car and it went out. it also chucked up warning lights all over the show.
got it home and checked it out. first of put a charge into the battery but wouldnt fully charge so that was my first problem. i put it back in though and checked for my alternator working, it worked but needed a rev to get it going. all the lights went back out after a small charge to the battery aswell.
few days later same problem occured. staright away i replaced the battery with a new one but it again threw up more warning lights.one of which hasnt gone out with the new battery being the brake failure system.it is now recharging on idle speed and staying at 14.48 volts.
so im unsure what to do about this brake failure light as my brakes work perfectly fine. any ideas would be helpfull.
