09 octavia L&K day running lights?

:biglaugh: Hi all, I have an Octavia 2.0 TDI L& K with the AFSII Lighting with cornering lights. The car seems to have the ability to have day running lights in the MFD, but when enabled the bulb warning flashes as if a lamp is blown.

I believe they use the lower outside lamps as they have 21w single fillament lamps in these. There is a plug with 2 pins connected to the 21w lamp. The cormnering lamps are enabled in the MFD, these are outside the H8 fog lamps
Any ideas? Each lamp filament is intact.

More info - I have removed each of the 21w lamps and they work when connected to 12v, the cornering lights (the lower inner lamps) are enabled in the MFD but they do not work either following the manual!

Well done to Beadles Aylesford sorted all problems out, all lights now working - Thanks martins99

What was done to fix the issue. I'm due to recieve my new L&K in December.

All I did is ask the dealer, they also set up for the cornering foglamps,
(the cornering lights in the MFD (OBD) are the cornering zenons).

The day running lamps (once enabled) are available to switch on/off from the on board display (OBD), I chose to have them enabled with the rear lamps.

The cornering foglamps once enabled, are on when the requirements are satisfied:
Dip beam on, <25mph, turning of the steering wheel and the foglamps NOT on
