Well as you know we do a lot of work for the dealer's. There were happy for us to use one of there Mk6 GTI's to make a cat back system and to map..

Here is the dyno after !! What do you think were over the moon and so are they..

Thanks Mike

Since the Golf's engine is undoubtedly tuned differently to the A4's (are they actually the same engine?) I'm failing to see the relevance to this forum.

However it's good to see a tuner putting up graphs to show what their product can do :beerchug: however one graph on it's own doesn't show much if you're not showing the before graph as well.

2.0 TSI/TFSI 132-155kW used from March 2008 in:

Audi B8 A4
Audi Q5
Audi A5
VW Scirocco
VW Golf Gti MK6

So basically the same engine although the VW uses non valve lift but still runs 211ps- so you can have S3 levels of horsepower from a remap :)

Valve lift is one difference I was expecting.

Additional to that there's no way a Golf GTi would be tuned the same as a Q5 regardless of the headline grabbing numbers. Hence the power delivery and graphs would be different and hence not comparable.

At least that's what I believe! :o

A sponsor showing what they can do with a 2.0 VW/Audi engine...remember they pay for the forum that you use!

Tuning is mostly the same. We offer standard APR flashes for all 2.0fsi and 2.0tfsi motors. One power delivery difference is that in your Audi quattro, you are moving 4 wheels instead of just 2. So power to the pavement is different, but power at the crank is more or less the same.

Not sure that changes my comment about relevance but the other posts are more informative and do. Cheers though ;)

Chris - I'm genuinely surprised that there's a standard map across the 2.0TFSI cars when I'd expect their requirements to vary with regard low down torque and revvy power etc.

If there's a standard map that works across the range, why did APR take so long (or even bother) to release the A4 2.0T specific map ?

seems there is quite a sizable dip in power at 2500 rpm

does the standard state of tune have that pronounced a trough at that point ?

I couldn't actually tell you since we just sell their tunes:confused:. I'd guess it would have to do with tailoring it for quattro drive lines? If you notice by clicking through our site, you can compare the VW tunes against the Audi tunes and notice a slight bit difference in power. But the dyno maps curve relatively the same.
