Hi folks, car ordered 1/10/09, when I asked dealer for a delivery time said he will get back to me with a date, which he will do but is there anyway for the customer to track the build and delivery

I picked mine up on Monday and I ordered on 29.07.09.
The dealer should be able to when the order is confirmed for build, when it is built and where it is in the transit line.

What have you ordered??

Thanks for that but I was just wondering if there is anyway to follow the process yourself.

Ordered mine on 14.09.09 (week 38). Confirmed week 45 as build week from factory. Estimated delivery week 49\50.

Only the dealer has possibility to check and track progress of an order. That what I was told from my dealer.

If you are worried about Spec or Order info then Ring Customer Services who will be able to give the info, If its available!
I found that my dealership bullshitted me from the start, once they were made aware of the errors they back-pedalled and tried to put the blame on the system (old computer!?!), finger trouble (new computer), failures at the factory and at the end I had enough and had the sale moved to another outlet.
The Fact is, the info on this forum is about as up-to-date as it gets!!

Mine arrives Week 45, after a 9 week wait. It has been painful...

I think the next two weeks will be the worse.

Hoping for a call from my fleet manager to say, they have brought it forward a week or so..... and pigs may fly.:aargh4:

The thing im most worried about is weather they remembered to put on the phone prep extra. It cant be that difficult as ive only ordered one extra.

Well it seems pigs do fly. Just had an email from my fleet manager advising me they are ready to deliver the car to me oin the 28th. 1 week ahead of schedule.

Delivery confirmed for Wednesday 28th to P’boro office a.m. The bluetooth interface mobile prep has been added as an extra.
