I have a 1.9 TDI 115bhp Passat Estate Wreg. with 125K

when I excellerate the engine stutters but if I just feed the power in or lightly press the ecellerator pedal it seems to be OK, I was wondering if the was a blockage in the fuel filter, its the only thing I have never changed since I had the car 4 years ago, it starts and idles OK, I seem to remember someone saying that there was some sort of cable that I need to check but I don't rememeber, I'm sure its not the MAF meter as I've replaced it with a new one.

Well after fitting a new Injector wiring loom it made no difference, finally decided to change MAF and Fuel filter, changed fuel filter first as it was the cheaper option. and yes it fixed the stutter, I did pour the contents of the old filter into a bowl and there was a lot of small black particles, wish I had changed this when I did the oil and oil filter change 10K ago, Oh well live n learn.
PS wil not change MAF meter as all seems OK now.
