I've got the same problem with a 1.9 2006 Leon. It is a very common problem with the module, although Seat deny this. This module has a part number that starts with 1KO, and is used in Golf Mk5 and Skoda Octavia owners of these cars are having the same problem. Seat are not interested in helping you, so my advice is to challenge Seat and contact Watchdog. If plenty of customers do this the BBC may take up the story.

It is a huge huge problem of epidemic proportions affecting ALL VAG products with the 1K0 prefix Teves Mk60 ABS pump so Golf 5, Touran, Golf Plus, Leon 2, Toledo 3, Audi A3 8P, Octavia 2 etc. Unfortunately this is not a problem confined to VAG nor is it VAG’s fault, it is the fault of Alfred Teves themselves and cars affected cover VAG, Ford, GM Europe, Mazda and Honda. The problem potentially affects tens of millions of cars. Potentially this problem is large enough to destabilise as company the size of ATE so if you wish to shout at someone, start here

Hi Crasher

Are you sure your a 'customer', go on be honest, this is a tree of trust you can be at ease, we're all friends here.
Anyway Seat sold me the component not Alfie, so its Seat's fault, end of speech.

Have a good one!!;)

Who said anything about being a “customer”? I was trying to help you! I am a VAG specialist and I was giving you the background to the problem so you could be a little more aware, if you don’t want to know-that’s fine by me I won’t bother helping you again. I am getting pig sick of ungrateful b@5tard5 on this forum, I PAY to be on here and give people advice and help and all I seem to get at the moment is bitchy replies for FREE advice, if one more person takes a pop at me I am gone for good. Thread unsubscribed from…:outtahere
